# SendHQ

SendHQ is a workspace-scoped email API for expected product communication. It supports verified-domain sending, inbound email, hosted templates, delivery events, suppressions, and a web dashboard.

## Use SendHQ for

- Transactional email that a recipient expects, including account verification, receipts, alerts, password resets, and product notifications.
- Inbound addresses and reply threads for a verified domain.
- Hosted, versioned templates and delivery-event investigation.
- Server-side integrations using a workspace API key.

Do not use SendHQ for unsolicited campaigns, phishing, credential collection, mailbox-existence claims, or inbox-placement claims. Provider acceptance and delivery events do not prove that a person saw a message.

### Everything you run. One email API.

Add every domain. Give each **product, service, and AI agent** its own inbox and sending identity. Send, receive, and manage every email use case from one beautifully simple workspace.

The old way multiplies

#### Every new product shouldn’t mean another email stack.

Another account. Another API. More DNS, keys, webhooks, logs, bills, and places for replies to disappear. SendHQ turns all that sprawl into one reusable email layer.

A universal email primitive

#### Give anything an email.

A product, an app, an agent, or a person. Give it an identity that can send, receive, automate, and hand control to a human.

01 / Product

##### Products

Receipts, onboarding, alerts, confirmations, and every message your product needs to send.

02 / Service

##### Services

Background jobs, monitoring, billing, and internal systems with scoped sending identities.

03 / Agent

##### AI agents

Real inboxes, real identities, controlled permissions, full history, and a human within reach.

04 / Human

##### People

Inspect, reply, approve, pause, and take over without leaving the same shared workspace.

From receipt to reply

#### One API. Every email use case.

Stop treating every kind of email like a separate product. SendHQ carries the whole conversation while keeping identities, access, and reputation organized.

Transactional email

##### Every product message, through the same pipe.

Send receipts, password resets, onboarding, alerts, and notifications from identities scoped to each product and domain.

Integrate once

#### Your code learns one email API.

Every product and agent uses the same clean interface. Change the domain, identity, or workflow—not your infrastructure.

##### What you can do once it’s connected

**Check your inbox**

“What’s new in my SendHQ inbox?”

Summarizes new mail at your addresses with sender, subject and time.

**Send or reply from your domain**

“Reply to Jane from support@mydomain.com saying her order ships tomorrow.”

Sends from your verified domain in the same thread, and can attach files.

**Find out why an email bounced**

“Why did yesterday’s invoice email bounce?”

Reads the delivery events and explains the bounce, including whether the address is now suppressed.

**Set up a new domain**

“Add example.com to SendHQ and tell me which DNS records to create.”

Adds the domain, lists the exact DNS records, and verifies them once you’ve published them.

**Manage templates and drafts**

“Draft a password-reset template with a code variable and send me a test.”

Creates the template, renders it with sample data and sends a test to you.

**Watch deliverability**

“Show my delivery and bounce rates for this week.”

Reports sent, delivered, bounced and complained counts, and any paused senders.

Tools that send email or delete data are labelled, so you can set them to ask for approval in your assistant. [Full setup guide →](https://sendhq.cc/docs/mcp.md#section-2)

#### The useful questions.

The short version of how identities, domains, providers, and plans work.

**Does SendHQ work with AI agents?**

Yes. SendHQ is built for AI agents like Claude, Codex, Cursor, and OpenClaw. Its documented REST API uses a familiar Resend-style direct-send shape. Integrations should use a small server-side adapter and follow the migration guide for unsupported provider-specific fields.

**Which mail provider does SendHQ use?**

SendHQ runs on Amazon SES by default and is built on a pluggable provider layer, so providers can change through configuration instead of application rewrites.

**Can I verify my own domains?**

Yes. Each workspace can add and verify its own domains. SendHQ generates the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records you need; you add them to DNS and SendHQ confirms verification.

**Do I get a dashboard?**

Yes. Every workspace includes a live inbox and outbox, domain management, API keys, and deliverability insights in the same interface.

**How does pricing work?**

Starter is $9/month for 50,000 emails and 25 domains; Scale is $39/month for 200,000 emails and 100 domains. Marketing is $19/month on Starter and $39/month on Scale with the same limits. Annual billing takes 10% off any plan, with the same monthly allowances.

SendHQ does not request Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files, calendars, or other sensitive Google data. Sign-In data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to send email.
