Prices are the current SendHQ plans in US dollars; annual plans are 10% off twelve monthly payments. Commissions are 50% of what the customer actually pays after any discount, excluding tax.
Who the program is for
If people ask you which tools to use for sending email from a product, this program pays you for the answer you already give.
- Newsletter writers. Your readers build products and ship side projects. A line in a tools roundup or an honest recommendation keeps paying long after the issue goes out.
- Developer YouTubers and educators. Every tutorial that sends a sign-up email, a password reset or a receipt needs an email API. Put your link in the description and the course notes.
- Agencies and freelancers. You set up email for client after client. Recommend SendHQ when you build, and earn on every client account that pays, not just the first.

How it works
- Join from your SendHQ dashboard. Sign in to SendHQ or create a free account, open Affiliates and join with one click. Your code is created for you; you can change it later, and links you already shared keep working.
- Share your link. Add ?via=yourcode to any sendhq.cc address and put it wherever your audience already reads, watches or asks for advice. The visitor's browser remembers your code for 60 days.
- Earn on every payment. When that visitor creates a new SendHQ account and pays, you earn 50% of the payment and of every one after it. Unlocked balances of $100 or more are paid on the 1st of the month.
Program rules
- Who can join. Anyone with a SendHQ account (creating one is free) and a Wise or PayPal account that can receive US dollars. Joining is free, and no paid plan is needed.
- What counts as a referral. A new SendHQ account created in the same browser within 60 days of a click on your link. Accounts that existed before the click never count. When someone clicks links from more than one affiliate, the most recent click wins.
- What you earn. 50% of every payment that customer makes on SendHQ, for as long as they keep paying. If they upgrade, your later commissions grow with their bill. Annual plans earn when the annual payment is made.
- When you get paid. Each commission unlocks 60 days after the payment it came from. On the 1st of every month we pay out unlocked balances of $100 or more; smaller balances carry over to the next month. Transfer fees are taken from the payout.
- Refunds and chargebacks. A refunded or charged-back payment earns nothing. If its commission was already paid, the amount is deducted from your future payouts, so your balance can go below zero.
- What is not allowed. Referring yourself (your own email, company or accounts), paid ads that send traffic through your link, bidding on SendHQ in search ads, spam, coupon and deal sites, and misrepresenting what SendHQ does. Where the law requires it, say that you are an affiliate.
- Review. Referrals that look suspicious are held for review. If a referral is rejected, its commissions are forfeited.
- Enforcement. Breaking these rules can get your affiliate account closed, stop your link from counting, and cancel commissions that have not been paid yet.
- Changes. We may change these rules or end the program, and we email affiliates before we do. Commissions you have already earned keep the terms they were earned under.
- Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
Questions
Do I have to be a SendHQ customer to join?
No. You need a free SendHQ account and a Wise or PayPal account that receives US dollars. You never have to buy a plan, and joining costs nothing.
Which page should my link point to?
Any page on sendhq.cc. Add ?via=yourcode to the address, for example https://sendhq.cc/pricing?via=yourcode or https://sendhq.cc/docs/quickstart?via=yourcode. If the address already has a query string, add &via=yourcode instead. Link to whatever page fits your post best.
Do the people I refer get a discount?
No, and they don't pay more either. Referred customers pay the normal SendHQ price; your commission comes out of our share, never their bill.
How do annual plans and upgrades work?
An annual plan earns 50% of the annual payment the day the customer pays it. When a customer moves to a bigger plan, every later payment is larger, and so is your commission.
Is there a cap or an end date on what I earn?
No cap. You earn 50% of every payment a referred customer makes on SendHQ for as long as they keep paying, whether that is two months or ten years.
What if my referral tries SendHQ first and pays months later?
It still counts. What matters is that the account was created within 60 days of the click on your link. Every payment after that, whenever it happens, earns you a commission.
What do I see in the affiliate dashboard?
The clicks on your link, the sign-ups they led to, each paying customer by number with their plan, first payment and what they have earned you, your pending, available and paid balances, and your payout history. Names and email addresses of the people you refer are never shown.
Are there transfer fees?
Payouts are sent in US dollars through Wise or PayPal, and the fee for the transfer is taken from the amount sent.
Can I run ads?
Write about SendHQ, review it, make videos, or mention it in your newsletter and social posts. Paid ads that send clicks through your affiliate link are not allowed, and neither are search ads that bid on our brand names.
Which countries can receive payouts?
Any country where Wise or PayPal can send you a payout in US dollars.
Do I need a website or a big audience?
No. A newsletter, a YouTube channel, a GitHub README, a community you help in or a few clients of your own is enough. One referred team on the Scale plan already earns you more than $200 a year.
