BIMI Record Checker

Look up the selected BIMI TXT record, parse its logo and authority evidence locations, and review the domain's published DMARC enforcement policy.

Most deployments use default._bimi.example.com. The lookup also checks the domain's DMARC record.

What the lookup checks

The tool checks TXT at selector._bimi.domain and DMARC at _dmarc.domain through two public resolvers. It parses the BIMI version, logo location (l), and authority evidence location (a) when published.

What remains outside this check

The tool does not fetch or validate the logo, inspect SVG Tiny PS conformance, validate a VMC or CMC certificate, prove organizational identity, or predict whether a particular mailbox provider will display the logo.

DMARC is a prerequisite

BIMI depends on an enforced DMARC policy. Published records still need to align with the mail sent in production, and mailbox providers apply their own support and acceptance rules.

Questions about this tool

Does a valid BIMI TXT record guarantee a logo appears?

No. Providers can require DMARC enforcement, an acceptable SVG, authority evidence, reputation, and provider-specific eligibility.

Where is a BIMI record published?

Usually at default._bimi followed by the organizational domain, although another selector can be used.

Does this tool validate a BIMI certificate?

No. It reports the published authority-evidence URL but does not download or validate the certificate.
