SparkPost Reviews 2026: Now Bird, Complaints and Pricing
SparkPost reviews in 2026: SparkPost now sits under Bird, and recent Trustpilot reviews report suspensions, billing problems and abuse concerns. Pricing as of October 2026.
Verdict. SparkPost's recent reviews are poor, and older reviews are warmer. In the 60 reviews we read, 36 were five-star, but nearly all of those date from 2020 to 2022. The 2025 to 2026 reviews are almost entirely negative. SparkPost's site now redirects to Bird's pricing page, so this review covers the product under Bird.
We read SparkPost's Trustpilot page (74 reviews listed; 60 read, 2020 to July 2026) and Bird's email pricing page.
SendHQ is a competing email API and is mentioned where it differs. Quotes are copied verbatim from the linked pages and attributed by the display name and month shown there. Reviews are self-selected, we cannot verify individual claims, and a complaint is not a finding about the company.
What users praise about SparkPost
- Older reviews were positive about support. A November 2021 reviewer wrote:
Absolutely outstanding company to work with.
We found no recent praise of that kind in the sample. - Bird's pricing page lists 30-day retention on every plan and 1,000 sending domains on its Growth plan.
